Experimental Investigation of Unsteady Pressure Pulsation in New Type Dishwasher Pump with Special Double-Tongue Volute

A pressure pulsation experiment of a dishwasher pump with passive rotation double-tongue volute was carried out and compared the single-tongue static volute. The three models analyzed from two aspects different impeller speeds monitoring points. frequency domain time–frequency were obtained by Fourier transform short-time transform, respectively. results showed that average each point on rotating smallest largest. When rotates at 3000 rpm, there eight peaks valleys in time curve volute, while twice Under speeds, changing trends curves volutes p1 are basically same. Therefore, reference scheme speed is proposed this study, which can effectively improve flow pattern reduce inside pump, also provide new idea for rotor–rotor interference to guide innovation dishwashers.
